You focus, the reef grows
25 minutes of focus and a 5-minute break by default — change them if you like. Each session grows the seagrass a little, and every third adds a new plant. Once it's full it stops, so it never gets crowded.

Chance visitors, remembered
Your first session always brings a clownfish; after that each one has a one-in-three chance of a new visitor, kept in a log for good. You can feed the fish once per break.

20 ambient sounds
Waves, rain, campfire, café, wooden fish, Canon… pick one and set the volume; it loops without a seam. All the sounds come with the app, so no internet is needed.

A corner of your desktop
Shrink it to a small widget in the corner of your desktop with just the reef and the countdown, or tuck it into the menu bar, where a little fish swims while you focus. Press ⌘⇧A any time to bring it back.

No pressure, ever
It just keeps you company while you focus — no nagging, no penalties, and your records stay on your own Mac.
Nothing dies
Stop halfway or walk away — no fish dies and nothing you've grown is lost. Ending early still records how long you focused; it just doesn't count toward growth.
Sleep doesn't count
When your Mac goes to sleep, the timer pauses — that time isn't counted as focus.
No sudden sounds
It never starts making sound on its own, not even on first launch. With sound off, you still get a message and a notification when a session ends.
Your records stay on your Mac
Your focus history and visitor log are saved on your own computer. No account, nothing uploaded.
Keeps going when the window's closed
Tuck the window into the menu bar or the widget — the timer and sound keep running.
